The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), founded in 2000, is a membership based ICT and IT Enabled Services (ITES) industry advocacy, support and networking association.

int@j serves as the collective voice of the industry, advocating on behalf of our stakeholders and seeks to maximize the contribution of the ICT sector towards the national economy. We aim to provide our members with the tools required to ensure continued growth and expansion.

Mahmoud is a Telecom Policy and Regulatory Consultant, a Performance driven telecom executive with expertise of more than 24 years in global regulatory framework, telecom policy, competition, technology and telecom business & strategy.
Mahmoud started his working Journey as Head of Technical Support in Telecommunications Regulatory Commission-TRC Jordan, before joining Zain Jordan as a Director, Interconnection & Regulatory Affairs in 2002 and as a Group Director, Regulatory & Government Affairs until 2015 where he joined Umniah Mobile Communications / Batelco Group until 2017.
Mahmoud has a Unique frontline regulatory experience forged at both the Regulator and Operator levels with extensive knowledge and in-depth experience in Interconnection, wholesale and carrier relations, Costing & Pricing, Licensing, Spectrum Management and Competition.

Mr. Bashar Al Emam

Biography:

Bashar Al Emam is the territory business manager at the networking giant; Cisco Systems, looking after the Jordanian & the Palestinian markets. He is a growth driven professional offering over 15 years of local and multinational experience; combining market knowledge and analytical mindset with team-leading skills to contribute to organizational growth.

Bashar holds a bachelor degree in computer engineering from the Jordan University of Science & Technology. Besides the many career certificates; he was one of the first few professionals in Jordan to receive Cisco’s most prestigious certificate; CCIE, back in 2007. Moreover, he is the first in the Arab world, and the 97th worldwide to achieve the business architect (BA) certificate.

He serves on several non-profit boards including the National Sector Skills Council for the ICT sector in Jordan.

Zeena Majali completed her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Northeastern University and then obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Communication Research at Boston University.
After working in the fields of market research and advertising in both Jordan and the US, Zeena in 2007 started her entrepreneurial journey by co-founding Crystel, the first independent multilingual outsourcing contact center in Jordan, with a vision of changing the face of customer service experience in Jordan and the Middle East. Crystel currently employs around 1,000 Jordanians and is serving various companies from around the globe
Zeena was selected in 2012 to join the Endeavor Network, a global movement catalyzing long-term growth by selecting the best high-impact entrepreneurs from around the world.
Since 2013, Zeena has been elected to be a board member of Int@j (the Information Technology Association of Jordan)

Prior to this Ahmad has joined Zain Jordan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with an impressive professional track record, and recently being a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the successful Zain Sudan mobile operation in March 2011.
Prior joining Zain Family, Hanandeh was the General Manager for four years of Posta Plus, the Gulf-based company specializing in world-class delivery, courier and postal services across the Middle East.
Back in 1994 and till 2006, he was a key member of Aramex Group, where he initially joined as an accountant and became a country manager in numerous Aramex’s Asian stations.
Worth mentioning that CommsMEA magazine, that entails critical analysis for telecommunications executives, awarded Hanandeh the Award for Telecoms Professional of the Year 2012. Hanandeh was shortlisted to be among the top three CEOs nominated for the award of “CEO of the year 2014” by Asia Communications Awards.

Maha Bahou is the CEO – Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC)
Maha had been working at the Central Bank of Jordan for 30 years, where she was the Executive Manager of the Payment Systems, Domestic Banking Operations and Financial Inclusion Department for 7 years and gained most of her experience in the Treasury Department.
Maha holds a master degree in Banking and Finance, a bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration, in addition to leadership and strategic management certificate from The Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst.
Maha is a certified mentor by the King Abdullah Centre for Excellence Award, a certified assessor by the European Foundation for Quality Management, and she has been awarded by King Abdullah II the Distinguished Government Leader trophy for the year 2016.
Ms. Bahou is a strong believer that FinTech is a main driver for Digital Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Development.

He has extensive experience in information and communication technology, having founded and led several North American companies in these fields, including: Redline Communications Inc (public: TSX) (President and CEO), a global leader in development and marketing of Broadband Wireless communications equipment; CTI Datacom (Chairman and CEO), an International communication network services firm; and Applications Technologies Inc.(Chairman), natural language processing software corporation. Majed holds an MBA degree in Finance from George Washington University and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Washington College of Law at American University.

He also has extensive experience in the field of digital solutions and applications
