The International Trade Centre (ITC), in partnership with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Business Development Centre (BDC), and EuroCham Jordan, is launching a new e-commerce capacity-building programme in Jordan under the Multi-Donor Programme “Enhancing e-commerce and digital trade in the Southern Neighbourhood.” The initiative is co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and jointly implemented by ITC and GIZ.

The programme aims to strengthen e-commerce and digital trade capabilities among Jordanian SMEs, particularly in service sectors, by training and certifying local experts who can support SMEs in improving their digital readiness, accessing international marketplaces, and expanding online business opportunities.

The programme will be implemented in three phases. First, 20 selected candidates will participate in a 5-day in-person Training of Trainers (ToT) in Amman from 30 June to 6 July 2026, focused on e-commerce, services productization, digital promotion, and SME coaching methodologies. Following an assessment, 12 trainers will be selected and contracted by ITC as part-time national consultants to support SMEs between September 2026 and March 2027. During this period, consultants will deliver training and one-on-one coaching to SMEs on e-commerce strategy, productization, activation, and digital promotion. At the end of the programme, consultants who demonstrate strong performance and measurable SME impact may receive ITC certification as “E-commerce Advisor for Small Businesses.”

The programme targets Jordan-based professionals with at least five years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, business consulting, training, SME support, or related service-sector fields. Applicants must have strong Arabic and English language skills, digital competencies, and mandatory experience in training and coaching. In addition, applicants must have a formal affiliation with a Business Support Organization (BSO) in Jordan, such as a chamber of commerce, incubator, accelerator, or similar institution, supported by an official endorsement letter. Priority sectors include engineering and design, IT and tech services, consulting, digital marketing, education and training, healthcare and wellness, and tourism services. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by 15 June 2026.
