Dear participant,
Thank you for your active participation in the first private sector dialogue for Jordan on promoting investment and business climate reforms in Jordan’s ICT sector, organized by the EU-OECD Programme on Investment in the Mediterranean on 17 June 2021. As a follow-up to the event, the OECD is organizing a Public-Private dialogue that will take place in Autumn 2021 and will involve ICT policymakers and private sector representatives. This will be an opportunity to discuss key policy reforms that the OECD will help the Government of Jordan to implement.
In preparation to this important event, we want to hear your opinion!
- We are conducting an open consultation to seek feedback and input from Jordanian ICT private sector stakeholders on the main challenges affecting growth and investment attraction in ICT and the key areas for policy action.
What is the aim of this consultation?
- The aim of this consultation is to develop policy recommendations ahead of the Public-Private Dialogue and to ensure that the Programme’s support is tailored to the specific needs of the sector.
Key questions asked as part of the consultation
- You will find attached an issues paper prepared in the occasion of the private sector dialogue: does your organization/company have any further inputs on the three specific challenges identified in the paper?
- Could your organization provide max. two policy actions that could improve your business operations and further investment attraction in Jordan’s ICT sector?
How can you participate?
- Simply send an email or your input as a Word document, no longer than 1 page, in English or Modern Standard Arabic to Tomay@oecd.org by 3 September 2021.
We remain available for any questions you may have.
Yours faithfully,
The OECD team
