GrowJO (Talent) is an incentive opportunity that supports the expansion and access of new and existing digital firms in Jordan by covering employment subsidies for new employees in order to create new jobs in the digital economy.
The incentive will provide employment subsidies for new employees in order to create new jobs in the digital economy. The incentive will provide employment subsidies that will cover up to 50% of new employees for up to 6 months.
Incentive Opportunity Objectives
• Support growth plans for digital firms
• Help build/scale digital firms’ activities
• Generate local job opportunities
• Encourage the development of the digital sector in proximate cities that may, otherwise, not directly benefit from the digital economy’s growth
International digital firms that are willing to expand to Jordan, establish operations outside of West Amman, and hire Jordanians are also eligible for this grant opportunity
Application Submission
This will be an ongoing opportunity. The process for this incentive will go through continuous rounds of evaluation and awarding at least, on a monthly basis. Each round will filter, assess, and award applications against eligibility criteria. The opportunity closure is contingent upon funding availability.
