Opportunity for companies to be part of Tariqi program & sign up interns/trainees

Tariqi:

‘Get Into’ Program, one of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development’s flagship programs. The program aims to empower young talents by providing them with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

About Tariqi ‘Get Into’ Program: The Tariqi Program is designed in collaboration with our strategic partner, King’s Trust International, and is implemented by our organization, the Business Development Center. What sets Tariqi apart from other programs is its unique approach: participants have the opportunity to choose from Four specialized tracks based on the labor market need. Each track accommodates 25 trainees who undergo a comprehensive two-week training session covering both soft skills and technical training.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Jordanian citizenship.
  2. Age between21 and 27 years old. (Depending on the sector)
  3. College or university graduates.
  4. Currently employed or working part-time with a willingness to change employment within a year.

Soft Skills Training: During the initial phase, participants engage in a six-day soft skills training program. The curriculum includes the following key points:

  1. Team Building and Leadership: Participants learn the importance of teamwork and effective collaboration within a group.
  2. Communication Skills: Interactive communication techniques are emphasized to enhance interpersonal effectiveness.
  3. Time Management: Trainees acquire essential time management skills to optimize productivity.
  4. Problem-Solving: The ability to differentiate between problem-solving and decision-making is honed.
  5. Positive Thinking: Participants recognize their own capabilities and develop enthusiasm, positivity, and motivation.
  6. Business Ethics: Understanding ethical principles in a professional context.
  7. CV Writing & Interview Skills: Trainees learn how to create impactful CVs and improve their interview performance.
  8. Stress Management: Techniques for dealing with stress positively are explored to achieve personal and professional goals.

Technical Skills Training (Cybersecurity, AI): Following the soft skills training, participants delve into a rigorous six-day technical skills program focused on Cybersecurity. This specialized training covers topics such as network security, threat detection, encryption, and incident response.

On-the-Job Training (OJT): Upon successful completion of the technical training, participants transition to a one-month (OJT) experience(20 working days). During OJT, interns have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills in a real-world setting in specialized departments in Cybersecurity, AI, and other departments. We cover transportation allowances for participants during this phase, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
