The Centres of Excellence (CoE) programme of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) aims to support capacity development in the field of information and communication technologies (ICTs). It offers continuous education to ICT professionals and executives in the public and private spheres through online and face-to-face programmes.
The Centres of Excellence, established in all ITU regions with the support from multilateral and regional organizations, serve as regional focal points for professional development, research, and knowledge sharing as well as provide specialist training services to external clients. I am pleased to inform you that the online training catalogue 2021 of the ITU Centres of Excellence for the Arab States is now available. It can be accessed via the aforementioned link by filtering this particular region, as well as on the ITU Office for the Arab States website.
Training courses for the Arab States are delivered in five priority areas: Wireless and Fixed Broadband, Cybersecurity, ICT Applications, ICTs & the Environment and Internet of Things. Please note that training courses will be delivered mainly online due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and that dates may be subject to change. Participants who successfully pass the course evaluation will receive an ITU certificate.
Course registration deadlines are available in the respective training course description and payment details are specified in the training course outlines, both available in the ITU Academy portal.
