Warm Greetings,

We are pleased to share the final version of the Digital Skills Gap Analysis Report, the final deliverable of our collective efforts to strengthen evidence-based dialogue and support informed decision-making across the digital skills development in the ecosystem.

As a supporting partner in this project, int@j would also like to extend its sincere appreciation to all participants who joined the launch event. Your active engagement and valuable contributions greatly enriched the discussion and underscored the critical role of collaboration in advancing digital skills development initiatives.

Digiskills Association, under the Youth, Technology and Jobs (YTJ) Project, at The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), commissioned this updated ICT Supply and Demand Gap Analysis to build a clear evidence base for policy and action, while the implementation of this project was led by Better Business with the support of the ICT association of Jordan (int@j).

The report offers comprehensive insights into the supply and demand of digital skills, identifies existing gaps, and highlights opportunities to better align education and training systems with labor market needs.

Below are some highlights of what the study includes:

  • Detailed current ICT Skills skeleton diagram including main technical and soft skills of the Jordanian graduates.
  • Detailed expected ICT Skills skeleton diagram when conducting suggested reforms and initiatives.
  • Detailed gap findings with evidence from Supply, Demand, and Training center surveys.
  • Salary Scale analysis of main ICT related roles distributed across different employee seniority levels.
  • 29 actionable roadmap items to enhance the ecosystem across three main pillars.
