The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut is launching a first-of-its-kind mini-certification program on Inclusive Strategies for the Recruitment, Retention, and Promotion of Women.

This free-of-charge certificate program is comprised of four modules, offering hands-on experiential exercises to enable local strategizing, to tackle barriers, and to implement purposeful strategies for inclusive workplaces. By attending, you can become a champion for inclusion and have concrete tools to translate ideas into action.

The modules also will connect you to trailblazing champions of inclusion, who will share and discuss successful women’s inclusion initiatives in the Arab Middle East and North Africa. The program – delivered by world-class experts and renowned academics – will inform, engage, and connect executives, HR managers, and key decision-makers using solution-driven and tailor-made content for the region that will help you take a leap into implementing advanced methods.

The program is comprised of four modules addressing:

Module 1: Inclusive Strategies for Recruitment
Module 2: Inclusive Strategies for Retention
Module 3: Inclusive Strategies for Promotion
Module 4: Inclusion in Action

The program is designed and delivered by the Center for Inclusive Business and Leadership (CIBL) for Women in collaboration with Executive Education. This program is a milestone for the Support to Accelerate Women’s Inclusion (SAWI Project) launched recently by CIBL for Women to collaborate with a network of select local employers to develop, improve, and implement inclusive policies for recruitment, retention, and promotion of women.

Through the SAWI Project, we are seeking to partner with employers in four sectors – Higher Education, STEM, Healthcare, and Banking in – eight countries: Tunisia, Algeria, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Iraq, and Libya.
