Webhelp Jordan appoints Waed Al Hawamdeh as CEO

Webhelp announces the appointment of Mr. Waed Al Hawamdeh as CEO of the company in Jordan, in recognition of his efforts and achievements during his tenure with the company.

Thus, he will be the first CEO of the company in Jordan, as he had a significant impact on its establishment and growth in Jordan, as well as at the local level in partnerships with the public sector and initiatives at the level of reducing unemployment and promoting Jordan as a global destination for investment. As Head of Operations Department, Waed worked since the beginning of 2020 to increase and expand the company’s business by developing and implementing strategies that improve sales channels and provide sustainable competitive advantages.

Al Hawamdeh holds a master’s degree and worked in the telecommunications sector before joining Webhelp, with more than 20 years of experience, he is an expert in the field of contact centers, operations management, CX and outsourcing services, He also has expertise in customer experience strategies by utilizing the latest and most recent technologies and global trends in managing and digitizing day-to-day operations.

He also developed partnerships with the local public sector and initiatives, aligned with Webhelp global strategy to contribute to communities; by reducing unemployment and promoting Jordan as a global destination for investment. During his tenure at Webhelp and in May of 2020, he launched the ‘’Think Human’’ initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, which aims to create job opportunities, especially after the effects brought by the COVID pandemic through several programs. Achievements and cooperations culminated in a visit by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah to Webhelp Jordan in June of the same year, where he expressed his thanks for the company’s efforts and the opportunities it provided to the people of the country during the pandamic for the first time as a qualitative addition to the labor market. The latest was the launch of the Economic Modernization Vision in the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, as a main panel speaker, which was held in June of this year.

The company started in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the capital Amman in June 2019 within international and modern standards and specifications, starting with 85 employees, one client and one headquarter in Amman at the time, and in light of the great growth witnessed by the company it has now reached nearly 2,100 employees and ten global clients first time to be served from Jordan from Webhelp offices located in the capital Amman and Irbid.
