His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday bestowed the King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Medal of Excellence (First Class) upon Dr. Rami Farraj, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Jordan’s healthcare sector, particularly his pioneering role in establishing and developing the unified electronic medical record system, “Hakeem.”

The Hakeem System has marked a major milestone in the delivery of healthcare services in Jordan, enabling secure and rapid access to medical information for patients and healthcare providers, while also supplying critical data to support informed decision-making at the national level.

Dr. Farraj also played a key role in the establishment of Electronic Health Solutions, which leads the implementation of the national digital health transformation program. By the end of this year, the company is set to complete the rollout of the Hakeem System across all hospitals and health centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health and the Royal Medical Services, in addition to the King Hussein Cancer Center.

Electronic Health Solutions’ vision focuses on empowering patients and healthcare professionals through advanced digital platforms and applications that ensure seamless, secure access to health records, enhance continuity of care, and enable effective case follow-up. The company continues to innovate smart, patient-centered healthcare solutions through the use of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics.
