As part of the ongoing implementation of the National Unified Platform for Education Management Information System and E-Learning, “Ajyal,” a delegation representing the platform’s partner entities conducted a field visit to Bab Amman School for Boys and Dahr Al-Sarou School for Girls in Jerash Governorate.
The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, represented by the Director of Digital Transformation and Enablement, Rami Al-Rawashdeh; the Queen Rania Center for Education Technology and Information, represented by its Director, Engineer Moneeb Tashman; and Integrated Technology Group (ITG), represented by its Chief Business Development Officer, Zaid Tahabsem. The visit was attended by the Director of the Jerash Directorate of Education, Wael Al-Azam, along with several educational and administrative staff from both schools.
The visit aimed to assess the reality of the educational process on the ground, listen to the needs of schools, teachers, and educational administrations, and open direct channels of dialogue with stakeholders in the education ecosystem. This approach contributes to the continuous development of the “Ajyal” platform and the expansion of its implementation in line with the actual needs of schools, while enhancing the efficiency of educational process management.
During the visit, emphasis was placed on the importance of digital transformation in education and the role of the “Ajyal” platform in organizing and managing educational processes, as well as developing teaching and learning tools. This supports the national direction toward modernizing the education sector and achieving integration between technology and contemporary educational practices.
Zaid Tahabsem, Chief Business Development Officer at Integrated Technology Group (ITG), affirmed that the “Ajyal” platform represents a strategic national initiative built on an effective public-private partnership, aiming to bring about a fundamental transformation in the educational ecosystem through the use of technology in serving education at the national level.
Tahabsem explained that the platform is built on global technical expertise based on the EduWave® platform, developed by ITG over more than 27 years and serving a user base exceeding 35 million worldwide. He noted that this technological legacy ensures the platform’s reliability, its ability to handle large-scale data, and its adaptability to diverse educational environments.
He further highlighted that the “Ajyal” project is driven by two main pillars: supporting the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision through digital transformation in the education sector, and achieving inclusivity while addressing on-the-ground needs by automating and organizing administrative and educational tasks, and providing interactive educational content that is accessible and easy to use for both students and teachers.
Tahabsem added that the “Ajyal” platform was designed to serve as an inclusive umbrella for all stakeholders in the educational process, offering tailored services for students, teachers, parents, and school administrations, thereby contributing to higher institutional efficiency and improved educational outcomes.
This visit reaffirms ITG’s commitment to the continuous development of the “Ajyal” platform in accordance with the highest technical standards, ensuring the sustainability of its impact within the educational field, and embodying the Group’s vision of harnessing innovation to serve society and achieve a comprehensive digital educational renaissance in the Kingdom.
