Under the patronage of Minister of Health Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour, and in the presence of senior officials and representatives from national health institutions across both the public and private sectors, Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) took part in the national event marking World Diabetes Day, held at the Jordan Health Forum at the Ministry of Health headquarters.

During the event, the National Type 1 Diabetes Registry was officially launched and integrated into EHS’s advanced national platform, the Jordan Health Registry (JHR).

This milestone represents a major step in Jordan’s digital health transformation and is the result of strategic collaboration between the Ministry of Health, the Royal Health Awareness Society, and EHS. The registry will strengthen the health sector’s ability to develop policies and programs based on accurate and comprehensive data about patients living with Type 1 diabetes across the Kingdom.

In his remarks, EHS CEO Omar Ayesh described the launch as a landmark achievement in the history of medical registries in Jordan and a model for future national registries. He explained that the project is part of the JHR platform, which serves as a unified national foundation for health information in the Kingdom.

Ayesh noted that the registry will allow for continuous monitoring of Type 1 diabetes patients from diagnosis onward, tracking complications, medications, and regular visits. It will also generate accurate annual reports to support evidence-based planning and policy development. He added that this project builds on EHS’s ongoing efforts to implement other national medical registries through the JHR platform, including registries for renal dialysis, hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, and newborn hearing disabilities.

He concluded by emphasizing that this achievement would not have been possible without the strong partnership between the Ministry of Health and the Royal Health Awareness Society, and the effective collaboration between the public and private sectors in advancing national health goals.

The Jordan Health Registry (JHR), developed by EHS, is a comprehensive national platform designed to serve as a unified hub for health information in Jordan, empowering decision-makers to make better use of data to enhance healthcare services nationwide.
