On Thursday, April 10th, Estarta had the honor of attending the opening ceremony of the 13th UN Women’s Film Festival, held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma bint Talal, in collaboration with the Royal Film Commission – Jordan.

The event welcomed ambassadors, distinguished guests, and changemakers to celebrate and recognize the role of women in cinema. The evening featured a screening of the compelling Jordanian short film “Sukoun” by director Dina Naser, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the film’s themes and the vital role of women in storytelling and filmmaking.

The event served as a powerful tribute to creativity, impact, and the voices of women in film.
