In a bold step that bridges one of Jordan’s oldest industries with its fast-growing fintech ecosystem, GateToPay and Fe Mazad have signed a strategic partnership to digitize payment flows across agricultural auctions, including fruits, vegetables, flowers, and wholesale markets. GateToPay, a Central Bank–licensed fintech enabler, and Fe Mazad, the platform redefining how auctions operate, are joining forces to bring modern, secure, and fully digital payment rails to a sector that has long relied on cash and manual settlement. The agreement marks a turning point in how farmers, traders, and buyers connect, creating a marketplace built on transparency, efficiency, and real-time settlement. “This partnership moves an entire sector forward,” said Mrs. Rasha Asfour, General Manager of GatetoPay.

“By extending fintech capabilities to agricultural auctions, we are enabling a smoother, safer, and more inclusive market where digital payments support every transaction and every stakeholder.” From his side, Mr. Eyad Al Qudah, General Manager of Fe Mazad, emphasized the platform’s vision and evolution: “At FeMazad, our mission has always been to empower farmers and traders with a fair, efficient, and modern marketplace. Partnering with GateToPay unlocks the digital backbone we need to deliver a trading experience that reflects the true potential of the agricultural sector as it embraces innovation.”
