Zain Jordan is participating as the telecommunications partner in the MENA ICT Forum 2024, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II. The forum, themed “Integration in Innovation,” kicks off today at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre at the Dead Sea. It is organised by the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (INTAJ) in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Investment.

Zain Jordan’s sponsorship reflects its pivotal role in advancing the local telecommunications infrastructure. Committed to supporting the tech sector and fostering innovation in Jordan, the company aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global innovation hub. Zain’s efforts align with Jordan’s economic modernisation vision and its strategy to accelerate digital transformation, enhance market competitiveness, and develop a robust digital economy.

Zain’s Contributions at the Forum

Zain CEO Fahd Al-Jassem will participate in a panel discussion on the future of innovation and regulation in the telecommunications sector. At its Zain Business pavilion, the company will showcase cutting-edge 5G-powered technological solutions for businesses, including smart cloud-based security systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, managed services, and disaster recovery solutions.

Additionally, Zain will demonstrate an innovative drone launch platform integrated with its 5G network, highlighting applications that leverage low latency for IoT, real-time communication, and remote device control.

Supporting Startups and Entrepreneurship

Zain’s innovation platform, ZINC, will host several Jordanian startups and entrepreneurs, offering them a platform to showcase their tech and telecom-related services and products. Participating startups include Algebra Intelligence, Curans, Tamarras, Semesteer, FarmJo, Daiteck, Darbco, Gamerg, Markabte, Sager Drone, Sawaaid, and VAMU. This initiative highlights Zain’s dedication to promoting Jordanian entrepreneurship by providing networking opportunities with strategic partners, potential clients, and investors.

Financial Innovation with Zain Cash

Zain’s financial arm, Zain Cash, will feature a dedicated booth showcasing its innovative digital financial technologies and services designed for individuals and businesses. Sultan Kashoura, General Manager of Zain Cash, will join a panel discussion on the role of fintech in driving growth, reflecting the company’s commitment to financial inclusion and promoting electronic financial services.

International Participation

The two-day forum is set to attract 3,000 participants from 40 countries, including prominent figures from Jordan, the region, and beyond, solidifying its role as a leading platform for digital and technological advancements in the Middle East and North Africa.
