As part of its commitment to supporting the Jordanian sports sector—particularly motorsports and motorcycle racing, which play a key role in cementing the Kingdom’s position on the global sports and tourism map—Zain Jordan has renewed its long-standing strategic partnership agreement with Jordan Motorsport.
The agreement was signed at Zain’s headquarters by Zain Jordan CEO Fahad Al-Jasim and Jordan Motorsport Executive Director Zaid Balqez, in the presence of senior executives from both sides.
Under the renewed agreement, Zain will continue to support and sponsor all events and activities organized by Jordan Motorsport throughout the year. These include rally and speed racing championships that contribute to the development of motorsports in the Kingdom, most notably the Jordan Baja Rally—one of the region’s premier sporting events that attracts participants from across the globe.
Zain reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining this collaboration, which falls within the framework of its ongoing support for the sports and tourism sectors in Jordan. The agreement reinforces the company’s role in positioning Jordan as a prime destination for sports and adventure tourism. Sports tourism, in particular, showcases the Kingdom’s rich natural and touristic diversity. This initiative is also part of Zain’s broader dedication to developing the sports sector by backing sports activities and motorsport events, which enjoy wide popularity across all age groups and genders.
Zain continues to support Jordanian sports through organizing championships and a variety of sports events, in addition to sponsoring major local sports initiatives and forging strategic partnerships with several sports entities. These include its role as the exclusive telecom sponsor of the Jordan Basketball Federation, a golden sponsor of the Jordan Olympic Committee, and supporter of Jordan Riders Rally and Harley Owners Group (HOG) rallies. The company is also a strategic partner for Red Bull’s events and activities.
Moreover, Zain supports key athletic events such as the “Run Amman” Ultra Marathon and the Women’s Marathon, sponsors youth football and basketball leagues in schools, and backs the careers of individual sports champions. For the past 15 years, the company has also supported Jordan’s Paralympic athletes on their sporting journey.
