RealSoft Advanced Application is glad to announce their partnership with Siemens Industry Software SA as a reseller of Mendix software and hardware products and any related services as a result of this commitment, RealSoft will expand its digital transformation services for both public and private sectors to enable rapid delivery of variety of software solutions to break the traditional silos of business and IT to promote continuous collaboration to achieve much greater levels of business agility and consequently accelerated delivery.

Orange Jordan and German Jordan University (GJU) in cooperation with GIZ, signing a cooperation agreement to establish Orange Digital Center Club at the university, aiming to develop youth’s skills to enhance their employability inside and outside Jordan.

According to the agreement signed by Orange Jordan’s CEO, Thierry Marigny and the Universities President, Prof. Manar Fayyad, Orange Digital Center Club will be established inside the university to offer the students training programs to develop their skills and benefit from the specialized trainers in different fields with Orange Digital Center (ODC) program at its HQ in Abdali.

Orange Digital Center includes free comprehensive program such as Coding academy, Fablab, Orange Fab to accelerate startups, in addition to Orange Ventures to fund startups in the Middle East and Africa.

Orange Jordan CEO, Thierry Marigny said: “We are happy to establish the first club of Orange Digital Center at the GJU, where these clubs will contribute in maximizing the students’ benefits across the Kingdom, as the special program will include more students without being centralized in the HQ.”

Marigny stated that the company will rehabilitate the club with the necessary equipment with a fund from GIZ, and it will support the training to enhance digital education, which will shape Jordanian youth’s skills to increase their employability and support them in creating their own project as per the market needs, in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility.

German Jordan University President, Prof. Manar Fayyad, commended the partnership with Orange Jordan, noting that it signifies the partnership between private and public sectors that the university focuses on, as it is considered as an applied university with strong ties with the industrial sector in Jordan and Germany.

Fayyad added that this partnership will add to the students in terms of education, training, and obtaining new skills that help them in starting entrepreneurial projects that will serve the society.

Head of Technical and Vocational Training Projects at GIZ, Ms. Eman Qaraeen, affirmed the project’s importance represents an effective partnership between the private sector and educational institutions, which will contribute in bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market requirements, and promote entrepreneurship among students, as its one of the main pillars for the GIZ in the Kingdom.

GJU will establish the club under its Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, which serves the university’s students and employees in developing their innovative ideas and turning it to companies, where the program resulted in creating several startups; in addition to the Innovation Platform and Lab and the IT incubator.

“RealSoft Advanced Applications is glad to announce kicking-off the e-Services development and Implementation project for Drivers & Vehicles License Department (DVLD) on (12/Jan/2021 ).

The project is constituted by (32 e-Service, 2 supporting services, and 8 e-applications) with 29 stakeholders, it has been initiated to support Jordan e-Government Program vision to improve the public services by:

• Reducing applicant’s time to access and deliver the service
• Simplifying processes and procedures necessary to render the service
• Improving the quality, cost, accessibility, and speed of delivering the service

Kick-off meeting has been attended by H.E. Ahmad Hanandeh, the minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and H.E. Brigadier Rami Dabbas General Director of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Department, in which they assured the high importance of this project in the digital transformation programs, which will help to facilitate e-services for citizens effortlessly.

Pakistan-based smart farming solutions provider secures pre-seed funding from BRINC venture capital and accelerator firm as a participant of BRINC’s Hardware & IoT Acceleration Program. The Startup will utilize the fresh capital to advance its product development and roll-out the first generation of their IoT based intelligent system. They aim to engage in a powerful marketing campaign to spread awareness on the benefits of digital transformation in agriculture.

Founded in 2017 by Nabeel Yousuf and Priya Osanna Smith, who have over a decade of farming experience, Radical Growth Solutions makes easy-to-use hardware, software, and mobile apps for digital agriculture. The solution leverages technology to help farmers make data driven decisions and understand nature better, by removing guesswork from irrigation to determine precisely how much water each plant needs and deliver exactly that, reducing operational costs and increasing crop yield.

Since its establishment, Radical Growth Solutions has been bootstrapped and was fully invested in its product development. In 2019, the startup joined HASSAD Agritech Accelerator in their first cohort program, where the startup investment readiness and growth potential were improved, and its business foundations were reinforced. The startups then joined BRINC’s Hardware & IoT Acceleration Program in 2020, where they interacted with more industry professionals who helped guide the product development journey from concept to reality. Last month, Radical Growth Solutions participated in BRINC’s 14^th Demo Day presenting to more than 300 investors, being the only Agritech startup in the cohort.

ESKADENIA Software, a leading provider of best-in-class business systems that accelerate digital transformation, took part in the International Financial Virtual Expo (IFEX), the first financial virtual Expo in the MENA region. The conference was held on the 10^th  & 11^th of February 2021.
