Embarking on an incredible journey with the brightest minds in our Early Talent Program at IRIS Technology was nothing short of extraordinary. Under the expert guidance of Engineer Saeed Awad, the team leader of our Cyber Security and Network Unit, a cohort of exceptional students dived into the intricate world of networking and security fundamentals.

تهدف الاتفاقية مع البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الاعمار والتنمية الى إعداد استراتيجية شاملة لإدارة كافة الجوانب المرتبطة بالتغير المناخي وإدارة الجوانب البيئية والاجتماعية بالإضافة الى محاور الحوكمة، وبما يساعد في تحقيق أهداف الاستدامة لكافة عمليات وأنشطة البنك، وبما يتوافق كذلك مع الاستراتيجية الصادرة مؤخرا من البنك المركزي الأردني حول التمويل الأخضر.
* تتضمن الاتفاقية منح بنك الإسكان تمويل ائتماني بواقع 15 مليون دولار أمريكي بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وصندوق المناخ الأخضر لاستخدامه لغايات التمويل الأخضر.
انطلاقاً من التوجهات العالمية وارشادات البنك المركزي المتعلقة بإدارة المخاطر البيئية والاجتماعية ومخاطر الحوكمة ((ESG، وقع بنك الإسكان اتفاقية تمويل ائتماني بقيمة 15 مليون دولار أمريكي، يمنحها البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية والاتحاد الأوروبي وصندوق المناخ الأخضر، وذلك بهدف مساندة البنك في تطوير استراتيجية شاملة خاصة بإدارة المخاطر البيئية والاجتماعية ومخاطر الحوكمة ( (ESG وبما يتوافق مع أفضل الممارسات العالمية في هذا المجال، بالإضافة إلى مساندة البنك في تقييم جدوى المشاريع التمويلية الخضراء المختلفة المقدمة لعملاء البنك بحيث يكون بنك الإسكان من البنوك الريادية في السوق المصرفي الأردني في هذا المجال.
ووقعت الاتفاقية في مقر الإدارة الرئيسي لبنك الإسكان من قبل الرئيس التنفيذي لبنك الإسكان، عمّار الصفدي، ومدير منطقة شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط في البنك الأوربي لإعادة الاعمار والتنمية، جريتشن بيرى، وبحضور سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي في الأردن، بيير-كريستوف تشاتزيسافاس.
وستمكن الاتفاقية بنك الإسكان من توفير التمويل الأخضر للشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والمتناهية الصغر في الأردن، لتعزيز استثماراتها في المشاريع المرتبطة بالاستدامة البيئية والتي تهدف الى الحد من آثار تغير المناخ بالإضافة الى تمكين البنك من تصميم منتجات جديدة تتماشى مع أهداف البنك الاستراتيجية في موضوع الانتقال الى مستقبل أكثر استدامة.
وتعد هذه الاتفاقية الأولى على مستوى منطقة جنوب وشرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط التابعة للبنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية، من حيث تطبيق منهجية البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية/ باريس للمواءمة في القطاع المالي، ليشكل بنك الإسكان أنموذجاً يحتذى به.
وتعليقاً على هذه الاتفاقية قال الرئيس التنفيذي لبنك الاسكان “تأكيداً لدوره الإيجابي في تحفيز النمو الاقتصادي، يواصل بنك الإسكان توسيع شبكة شراكاته الداخلية والخارجية ويسعده أن يعلن عن شراكته مع البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية لدعم الاستثمار الأخضر في الأردن وبشكل يساهم في تشجيع الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة على الاستثمار بالمشاريع التي تدعم البيئة، حيث يعتبر بنك الإسكان هو البنك الأول الذي قام بالتعاقد مع البنك الأوروبي لإطلاق أول استراتيجية شاملة تهدف لتطوير كافة المحاور المرتبطة بالحوكمة والبيئة والمسؤولية الاجتماعية، وبما يتماشى مع أهداف البنك الاستراتيجية في اتباع أفضل الممارسات والمعايير العالمية بهذا الخصوص”.
من جهتها علقت بيري: “يسر البنك الأوروبي لإعادة الإعمار والتنمية توقيع هذه الاتفاقية التمويلية مع بنك الأسكان وذلك بهدف اتاحة الفرص لعملائهم في الوصول الى التكنولوجيا والخدمات الصديقة للبيئة. نحن فخورون بشراكتنا المستمرة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وصندوق المناخ الأخضر لمنح التسهيلات من خلال برنامج التمويل الأخضر، والتي من المتوقع أن تساهم في خفض الانبعاثات السنوية من ثاني أكسيد الكربون بحوالي 11000 طن كل عام على مدى السنوات الخمس عشرة القادمة في الأردن. نحن ملتزمون بتحقيق المزيد من التأثير من خلال البرنامج وبناء اقتصاد يعتمد أكثر على المشاريع الصديقة للبيئة وتعزز مفاهيم الاستدامة والاستمرار بمساعدة القطاع الخاص في الأردن”.
ومن جهته قال تشاتزيسافاس، سفير الاتحاد الأوربي في الأردن: “ان الاتحاد الأوروبي مسرور في التوجه الحاصل لدى البنوك التجارية، مثل بنك الاسكان، في دعم شراكة التنمية ومواجهة التغير المناخي والاعتماد على استخدام التكنولوجيا المتطورة والتحول الرقمي، حيث يساهم القطاع التجاري الخاص، وخاصة الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والمتناهية الصغر، بدورًا أساسيا في الجهود المبذولة لتحقيق أهداف اتفاقية باريس.”
