Financial crime compliance risk and payments solutions provider, Eastnets, has been named as multiple category leader in the Chartis Research “Financial Crime Risk Management Systems: Watchlist Screening and Monitoring Solutions, 2022, Vendor Landscape (Part II)” report.

It received the leader rating in all three of the Chartis Research RiskTech Quadrants® for Name Screening, Transaction Screening, and Transaction Monitoring.

Eastnets also received a “best-in-class” score for Transaction Screening for data methodology underlying the strength of its data platform and artificial intelligence (AI) data analytics-driven solution.

There are two Eastnets solutions covered by the report. The first is SafeWatch Screening, which includes the industry-pioneering ChainFeedTM product based on blockchain technology. This provides a secure encrypted solution with Real Time List Loading (RTLL) to update sanction lists automatically, with zero downtime, eliminating human errors and the risk of cyber threats. SafeWatch Screening includes an advanced algorithms and detection engine including fuzzy matching logic with features to reduce false positives. Together with its advanced analytics and business intelligence-driven dashboards provides powerful compliance insights.

The second solution assessed is SafeWatch AML, which includes advanced AI and machine learning capabilities. It offers AI-driven transaction and relationship analytics to create risk scores and identify anomalous behaviors. Unsupervised AI models optimize and calibrate alerts, significantly reducing false positives. It also includes an Investigator Tool, using graphing technology to connect relationships providing context to suspicious transactions.

The report includes a highly competitive field of 24 vendors with Eastnets scoring strongly across the board. Chartis Research, part of Infopro Digital, is a leading provider of research and analysis on the global market for risk technology.

Huawei has launched SD-WAN and Wi-Fi 7 Series products and innovations for the first time in Saudi Arabia at the IP Club KSA forum on November 30, 2022, in Riyadh. Under the theme of “Intelligent Cloud Network, Unleashing Digital Productivity,” the Huawei IP Club aims to build an open, free, friendly thought-sharing platform for network technical supervisors, engineers, industry analysts, and key opinion leaders. At IP Club, people will be joined by the best minds in the industry to engage in thought-provoking conversations about future network technology trends, share perspectives on digital transformation, and chart the way forward.

SD-WAN is an important market segment in the datacom field with numerous applications. Most vendors in the industry mainly focus on routing devices for branch interconnection. Huawei SD-WAN is an end-to-end solution that integrates branch interconnection routers, campus switches, Wi-Fi access, and a unified network management platform. TjDeeD Technology and Dropbox held a co-seminar in Amman- Jordan, titled ”Digital Transformation” at Fairmont. Held in Cairo on October 24th, the event gathered a wide variety of industry experts to discuss the significant challenges and trends they face to deliver a world-class customer experience across multiple touchpoints.

Fadi Qutaishat kicked off the second edition of Globitel CX Workshop with a warm welcome and history of Globitel since 1996. Qutaishat emphasized the exponential growth of the customer care industry and the expansion of our products to suit evolving demands in the market.

This year’s event attracted a record number of attendees and speakers, including H.E. Ahmad Hanandeh – Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, who delivered the keynote address at the event. Attendees were given the opportunity to network and connect with one another while sharing their views and insights on various industry issues and best practices.

Deputy CTO Amr Mansour, from Banque Misr, delivered a rich conversation based on his knowledge of the customer service industry, “CX, is it cliche?”. Mansour discussed critical aspects of how businesses can stay ahead of their competition.

Next, during his “Words Have Meaning” talk at Globitel, Hussein Shhadat discussed the benefits of speech analytics with real-world examples of the technology’s success at a call center. Shhadat discussed in depth how businesses can achieve ROI using Speech Analytics technologies. Shhadat addressed measurable KPIs extracted from calls, to make decisions that ensure better operations, improved agent performance, and a higher return on investment.

The workshop also featured a “Finding Your Customer In a Sea Of Data” panel discussion, led by Samer Halawa, Globitel Vice Chairman and Co-Founder, with experts such as Sulayman Ellayan, Chief Executive Officer at Extensya, Naglaa Abdeen, Senior Director at Telecom Egypt, Emad Shawky, Head of Digital Innovation and Digital Factory at Banque Misr, Fady Makin, Head of Customer Experience at Orange Egypt and Khaled Nabhan, Head of Customer Experience at First Bank of Abu Dhabi (FABMisr). The panelists provided valuable insight into how organizations can use data and advanced analytics to improve customer experiences and drive tangible business results.

Nael Halawa, Managing Director at Globitel KSA, delivered an engaging and exciting talk entitled “The Last Blind Side.” In this talk, Halawa addressed how to measure the return on investment from monitoring a critical touch point, the retail shop. Halawa provided tangible examples of KPIs and how they improved with SpeechLog Retail in less than a month. Halawa delivered a compelling talk that encapsulated the retail quality management technologies of today, and answered the most burning questions and delivered a gripping testimony of what he came to know during his decades in the field.

In one of the most memorable sessions of the event, “Achieving Success In The Retail Shop Experience,” a riveting panel discussion was led by Ali Alkhazali, Customer Experience Expert at Abu Dhabi Ports, who spoke alongside experts such as Samer Al Haj, Chief Consumer Sales Officer at Orange Jordan, Yazan Ibrahim, Consumer Business Director at Zain Jordan, Hassan Abdel Moniem, Senior Manager Retail Consumer Operations Customer Experience at Etisalat UAE, Tariq Ibrahim, Manager of Digital Innovation at Etisalat UAE, and Gina Kamel, Head of Customer Experience at B.TECH. The discussion was interactive and featured a lively exchange of opinions and ideas among the participants. The panelists also discussed the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative digital and physical touchpoints to strengthen customer loyalty and drive business growth.

ESKADENIA Software, a leading provider of best-in-class business systems accelerating digital transformation, participated in “The Leaders4Equality program – L4E” to empower and invest in women’s futures in technology. The program, held under the title “Paving the way for a diverse private sector in Jordan,” was organized by Mashreq Gender Facility in cooperation with the World Bank Group, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the ICT Business Association in Jordan (int@j), and the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW).

The Leaders4Equality (L4E) Peer Learning program is a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) peer learning cohort focused on advancing gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. Companies from various sectors took part in this initiative and were grouped into pairs. As part of the Peer-to-Peer Sessions, ESKADENIA Software collaborated with JoPACC (Jordan Payments and Clearing Company) to create work plans, develop HR tools, and share outcomes. The goals are to retain, recruit, and promote female employees.

During the course of the program, the ESKADENIA Team, with support from the IFC’s L4E, had the opportunity to enrich and enhance all of the company’s policies and strategies and cover a wider range of diversity and inclusion angles throughout the program sessions. Moreover, the team developed a Diversity and Inclusion policy encompassing all of ESKDAENIA`s existing and revamped gender-sensitive policies. This also entailed updating other relevant HR materials such as the Employee Handbook.

Since its inception in 2000, ESKADENIA Software’s core principles have included a commitment to gender equality. In recognition of their efforts to foster equal opportunities for women and men, ESKADENIA Software has been awarded the United Nations Women’s Organization’s “Gender Equity Seal (GES).”
