Umniah by Beyon Launches Annual “Umniah Al-Khair” Campaign to Support Families in Jordan and Gaza

Umniah by Beyon, recognized as the best mobile network in Jordan, has announced the launch of its annual Ramadan charitable campaign, “Umniah Al-Khair,” for the holy month of Ramadan 2026. This year’s campaign reinforces the company’s social responsibility strategy following the launch of its new corporate identity, with a renewed focus on institutionalizing volunteer work and strengthening sustainable national partnerships.

The campaign was officially launched with the signing of a cooperation agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali at Umniah’s headquarters, renewing the strategic partnership between the two parties for the ninth consecutive year. The agreement aims to support sustainable initiatives to combat food poverty across the Kingdom.

As part of the agreement, Umniah will sponsor a number of underprivileged families for a full year by providing monthly food parcels that meet their essential needs. The partnership also includes sponsoring Iftar tables organized by Tkiyet Um Ali in the Al-Mahatta area, implementing food parcel distribution activities, and organizing specialized volunteer days for Umniah employees at Tkiyet Um Ali’s warehouses. These volunteer activities will be joined by a group of prominent players from Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly football clubs, who will contribute to food preparation and packaging efforts.

In the same context, Umniah announced the continuation of its humanitarian support campaign for the second consecutive year, with assistance dedicated to distributing Iftar meals in the Gaza Strip, reflecting the initiative’s inclusive scope and extended humanitarian impact.

Commenting on the launch, Umniah Chief Executive Officer Faisal Al Jalahma said, “The 2026 edition of ‘Umniah Al-Khair’ reflects the company’s commitment to building a more sustainable and professional approach to community engagement. This approach is based on long-term national partnerships, expanding organized volunteer work, and linking corporate social responsibility initiatives to measurable impact that addresses community priorities, particularly food security and support for less fortunate families. The campaign is a continuation of Umniah’s social responsibility strategy following the launch of its new corporate identity and underscores our commitment to playing an active and lasting role in social development.”

Dina Al-Daoud, Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, added, “This year’s ‘Umniah Al-Khair’ campaign focuses on maximizing social impact through clearly defined programs and trusted partnerships with leading national institutions such as Tkiyet Um Ali, while also promoting a culture of organized volunteerism among Umniah employees. By offering direct donation channels to our customers, Umniah aims to expand community participation and ensure that support reaches those in need efficiently and transparently, in line with the company’s new identity and its vision for more effective and sustainable social responsibility”.

Through this comprehensive campaign, Umniah seeks to strengthen its role as an active partner in community development, focusing on key strategic pillars that include local development, humanitarian assistance, and supporting the resilience of underprivileged families.

For his part, Tkiyet Um Ali Director General Samer Balkar said, “We greatly value Umniah’s continued support for Tkiyet Um Ali’s programs, particularly through sponsoring beneficiary families and ensuring their food needs are met throughout the year. This support reflects a shared belief that social solidarity extends beyond the month of Ramadan to ensuring year-round food security for the most vulnerable families. We take pride in this nine-year partnership, which has made a tangible contribution to our efforts to combat hunger and strengthen food security in the Kingdom. This model of strategic cooperation between the private sector and national institutions sets a strong example for sustainable humanitarian work”.

It is worth noting that since its establishment, Umniah has adopted “Umniah Al-Khair” as the umbrella initiative encompassing all of the company’s charitable and giving programs. The initiative supports a wide range of community and development projects implemented throughout the year and aimed at contributing to social development.

Currently, Tkiyet Um Ali provides sustainable food support to 20,000 registered families living below the food poverty line across 12 governorates in the Kingdom, through monthly food parcels containing 19 essential food items that meet families’ nutritional needs throughout the year.
